Following a four-day evidentiary hearing, Fourth District Court Judge Christine Johnson granted C&J's motion for sanctions against IHC Hospitals, Inc., due to misconduct of its counsel JoAnn Bott (fka JoAnn Carnahan). In
Wilson v. IHC Hospitals, Judge Johnson found that Ms. Bott’s repeated ex parte meetings with a treating physician amounted to “willful” improper conduct, “which resulted in altered testimony and amended records.” Read more about the judge's ruling
