News: Gabe White Hosting 2016 Fall Forum Sponsored by C&J
C&J's Gabriel K. White is co-hosting this year's Fall Forum along with Amy Fowler of the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association at the Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City on November 17th and 18th. Gabe and Amy will provide a welcome and introduction, as well as will hand out awards to several honored recipients. This year's Fall Forum is sponsored by C&J and features keynote speakers such as Erin Brockovich, Jan Schlichtmann, Prof. Daniel S. Medwed, Utah Governor Gary Herbert, Utah Supreme Court Justice Christine M. Durham, and Melinda K. Bowen. Additionally, the Fall Forum includes a number of one-hour CLE courses, covering a dearth of legal topics, including a presentation from C&J appellate attorney Karra J. Porter regarding the competing views of trial and appellate counsel over issues that may arise at trial. Sarah Spencer selected as DRI Apellate Advocacy 2019 Seminar Chair
Sarah Spencer has been appointed as the Program Chair of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) National Appellate Advocacy Seminar, to be held in Chicago on July 19, 2019. Sarah has been active in the Appellate Advocacy Committee of DRI since 2014 and has provided her insight in many DRI articles.
