PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Scott is a Shareholder and Director at the firm. Scott has been Managing Director of the firm since January 1, 2007. He has experience in litigation and trial work in many areas of the law. This includes insurance defense, insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, personal injury litigation, malpractice/professional liability, construction and construction defect, and Fair Debt Collection Practices. Scott enjoys dealing with cases that involve complex medical and legal issues. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Scott practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada where he was house counsel for two insurance companies and was an associate at a smaller general practice firm. While practicing in Nevada, he was also appointed as a panel arbitrator in the Court Annexed Mandatory Non-Binding Arbitration Program for the Clark County Court System

Defense verdict and award of attorneys fees in defending property owner against wrongfully filed mechanics liens;
Representation of an ambulance company in many medical negligence claims;
Numerous resolutions of insurance defense and personal injury cases through trial/jury verdict, motions for summary judgment, arbitration and mediation involving auto accidents, semi-truck accidents, slip/trip and fall, premises liability, and catastrophic injuries
